The RCRA training course helps maintain competencies learned in RCRA standards regarding hazardous waste and used oil found in 40 CFR Parts 260 through 268, 273, and 279.  EPA requires annual refresher RCRA training for hazardous waste facility personnel.


 

CPR, First Aid, and AED

Wednesday, August 9, 2023 – 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM

$15.00/person (Limited to 6 seats)

Presented by Mike Bamberger and Brandon Christensen, OSU Emergency Management

This course is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.


Lab Packing 101 (4 Hours) – This is the last year this course will be offered

This course is designed for someone who is starting a hazardous waste self-pack program from the ground up. It is also very useful for hazardous waste managers who do not self-pack but want to better understand what their vendor is doing and assess the quality of their work.


HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher

Thursday, August 10, 2023 – 8 AM to 5 PM

The HAZWOPER refresher course recertifies and maintains competencies learned in the HAZWOPER 24-Hour or 40-Hour courses and must be taken annually.


DOT Refresher (8-Hours)

Thursday, August 10, 2023 – 8 AM  to 5 PM

The DOT refresher course helps maintain competencies learned in 49 CFR and must be taken every 3 years.
